DURBAN: CREATIVE ACTIVATION 2 HONOUR GAZA’S CHILDREN 🇿🇦🇵🇸
BUTTERFLY SOULS: “There is healing in coming together, there is remembrance in using our hands to make butterflies for the precious children of Palestine stolen from this world.”
*CREATIVE ARTIVISM STATION*: Community members, young and old, are invited to craft unique butterflies to dedicate to every Palestinian child whose life that has flown to soon. Art supplies will be available; crayons, paper, paint, scissors, glitter glue etc. and we encourage those that have extra, to bring more. The artwork created will be on display at the gallery till Monday the 8th April.
*SHORT FILM SCREENING*: “On the Side of Memory” by young Durban film maker, Michael James followed by community dialogue facilitated by Victoria Simpson.
